Built for Florida storms, Hurricane Proof Shingles is a residential and commercial roofing program from Sun Coast Roofing & Solar, based in New Smyrna Beach. The system uses GAF Timberline® shingles with LayerLock™ technology, which locks the shingles together for stronger wind resistance. They’re impact rated against hail and flying debris and meet Florida Building Code requirements.

Every installation is backed by GAF’s WindProven™ Limited Wind Warranty, which has no maximum wind speed limit. Sun Coast adds its own 15-year wind warranty on top of that. Homeowners also get the GAF President’s Club Limited Warranty, with lifetime coverage against manufacturing defects and 50 years of non-prorated materials and labor protection. The Sun Coast labor warranty runs 25 years on residential roofs and 20 years on commercial properties.
