Stations

The Ormond Beach Fire Department’s mission is to protect the lives and property of Ormond Beach residents and visitors by providing the highest level of service. We serve approximately 42,816 residents living in a 38 square mile area within the city limits. We also provide automatic aid through a closest-unit response agreement with neighboring cities and unincorporated areas of Volusia County.

The City of Ormond Beach is currently protected by 4 city fire stations. Each of these stations is staffed with a minimum of 3 fire fighters who are all cross-trained as Paramedics or Emergency Medical Technicians.  The frontline apparatus housed at these stations have a variety of equipment which can be utilized in various emergency situations such as: Advanced Life Support (ALS), Basic Life Support (BLS), fire prevention and suppression, vehicle extrication, etc.

Additionally, Ormond Beach Fire Department regularly provides CPR/AED classes and Child and Babysitting Safety training. OBFD fire fighters can also often be found educating our citizens about fire safety through outreach in schools, community organizations and at special events.
