Starting Thursday, January 6, Ormond Beach’s high bridge boat ramp will be closed for improvements.

Construction will replace the wood walkways with concrete while adding aluminum walkways and floating docks. There will also be the repair of the existing sheet pile walls, construction of ADA compliant parking spaces, and installation of rock for shoreline revetment.

The boat ramp will be closed to all vehicles and pedestrians during construction. The city expects construction to finish by summer 2022. The city advises residents to use the Tomoka State Park Boat Ramp, the Tomoka Boat Ramp, and the Granada Boat Ramp.
