On Sunday afternoon, Holly Hill Police Department responded to a call on Flomich St., of a person shot at Rowsey’s bar. Dispatched advised officers on the scene that the person was located at the camper trailer on the north side of the parking lot.

When officers arrived, a woman was found naked from the waist down, and in extreme pain. The woman was only able to tell officers that she was approached by two black males, she asked them to leave her alone and they shot her before fleeing in a blue car.

The woman was sent to Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach as a Trauma Alert.

There was a male on the scene, who was able to provide the females Date of Birth and Name, but after a background check, it was revealed the man had an active warrant in Seminole County. HHPD officers detained the male but he began to complain of chest and arm pains.

He was transported to Halifax Health.

Investigators arrived on scene finding bullet shell casings, blood, and a pair of black sunglasses at the north end of the parking lot.

The investigation is ongoing and HHPD is asking anyone with information is requested to contact the Holly Hill Police Department, at 386-248-9475.
