Back in December, the Ormond Beach Neighborhood Improvement Advisory Board unanimously voted that excess funds from Fiscal Years 17-18, and 18-19 to be used to provide additional funding to the Riviera Improvements Project at Riviera Park in Ormond Beach.

The improvement plans being done to the Riviera Park are converting existing shell parking areas to concrete. The total project was estimated at $55,000, but the estimate was updated to $58,795 due to Demolition and geotechnical testing.

The excess funds in question from FY 17-18 and FY 18-19 total to $3810. The vote on the redirection of funds was approved on February 18, and utilize a majority of the excess funds available, minus $15.

The redirection transfer will not affect the City’s budget and allows for the improvement project to get underway, allowing for more parking spots at the Park including one handicap spot as per the ADA Compliance Law.
